Analysis and simulation support service using OpenFOAM

Price: Ask quatation Release: January, 2012 Cloud Service

 Introduction
This is the analysis/ simulation support service using fluid analysis tool "OpenFOAM" already installed in FOCUS super computer.

OpenFOAM was developed by OpenCFD Ltd., and it's now distributed as a free and open source under General_Public_License of GNU.

This enables to simulate various situations from the complicated fluid flow including chemical reaction, turbulent flow and heat transfer to solid mechanics, electromagnetic dynamics and governing equation of economics.

This service allows users who is not in the environment for the usage of super computer to use the high-quality anaysis environment using super computer by FORUM8's accessing to super computerbetween them.

 Detail of service
This service will be processed after consultation being provided the analysis condition by customers. The fluid analysis using OpenFOAM will be conducted as followings.
  1. Creation of space
  2. Creation of terrain
  3. Creation of building
  4. Setting of boundary
  5. Selection of solver (calculation part)
  6. Calculation execution
  7. Result evaluation

Therefore the materials which are necessary for analysis are space range, terrain shape, building shape, boundary condition etc. They are like the followings concretely.
  • Surface data and point cloud data etc.
  • Data file of UC-win/Road
  • 3D model
  • STL file
  • Input data of OpenFOAM
  • No materials to be supplied (FORUM8 measures and creates the point cloud data.)

Technical staff of FORUM8 will construct the analysis model based on the above-mentioned materials.
