 Letter from Representative office |
Forum8 has established representative offices in Singapore, London and
New Delhi last year, as part of an active global expansion.
We will introduce our overseas activities and reports based the reports
from our representatives from the foreign offices. The 1st office to be
established is the Forum8 London Representative Office. The representative
office in London was established in central London, Holborn, in June this
year.
In reality, many law-related companies and agencies are located in this
district. Being on High Holborn together with the JETRO Office has made
it really convenient for correspondences.
TRL (Transport Research Laboratory), which we introduced earlier in the
Dealer Network News, is an hour train ride away from Waterloo station in South London. Greenwich
University, with which we have had prior relations with, is located in
the suburbs. We decided the location of our office based on geographical
proximity and access to different transport routes, as well as the convenience
in travelling to our partners' office.
Though this is our 3rd overseas posting following New York and Amsterdam,
many foreigners in London don't make me feel to have come to overseas.
Many Japanese restaurants have chain stores in London, giving London City
a Japanese feel.
The office was established with only 1 staff overlooking the business operations
in London. However, we will be expecting graduates from the University
in Manchester, in the month of November.
I am going to expand this network from London throughout the entire Europe.
There have been quite a number of technical introduction and formalities
this time because of our new establishment. In the next issue, I will provide
wider and richer topics pertaining to our business operations in England.
If you plan to visit England, we encourage you to visit our office, which
is located within walking distance of the British Museum.
