Introduction
In the newly released Shade3D Ver.26, new features and enhancements focused on modelling and input/output have improved usability for applications such as the Metaverse and BIM/CIM. This topic will introduce an overview of the main features.
* The screens are under development and may be subject to change without notice.
Sculpt Modeling
This function allows you to create polygon mesh 3D models intuitively, as if you were moulding clay. It is suitable for creating complex, organic shapes, and can be used for a variety of purposes, including not only creatures and characters, but also the creation of well-designed accessories and the creation of natural-looking wrinkles in fabric products.
Enhanced Linkage with Metavania F8VPS
It is possible to add or overwrite models directly from Shade3D to the Metavania F8VPS assets.
You can add and overwrite glb files from Shade3D to the Metavania F8VPS assets without opening Metavania F8VPS as a separate application.
In addition, combining it with the real-time collaboration function of Metavania F8VPS allows you to add models to assets after checking what they look like in the Metavania F8VPS scenes. This makes it easier to create suitable models and reduces work time.
* Models cannot be placed or added directly on Metavania F8VPS space from Shade3D.
Corresponding to Road Alignment and Longitudinal Alignment
It allows detailed and general definition of the vertical alignment (vertical curve) of road alignment curves.
By defining vertical curve points for the length of the curve created by the horizontal alignment and setting the parameters of the transition curve such as height to length, VCL (vertical curve length), and transition curve type, you can create curves that conform to the roads used in reality.
Light Source by glTF Input/Output
The program supports the input and output of basic object light sources, including collimated, point and spot light sources.
You can make use of outside sunlight and lighting fixtures, and reflect them into VR scenes.
Enhancement of DXF Input/Output
Shade3D also also corresponds to DXF files in the R12 or later formats, as well as the binary format.
It has improved compatibility with various software, allowing for smooth integration.
3D Parametric Tool Supports Civil Engineering
It is possible to create 3D models of road earthwork structures such as box culvert and retaining wall.
You can create road earthwork structure models with IFC information with simple operation. In addition, input parameters can be reused in the UC-1 product "3D Parametric Tool Civil Engineering" by inputting and outputting data in the IFC file format.
