FORUM8 Opened Cambridge Toranomon Laboratory (CIC Tokyo) and FORUM8 NETSUGEN Gunma Desk (Gunma Prefectural Office Building)

On December 1st, 2022, FORUM8 Co., Ltd. (2-15-1 Konan, Minato-ku, Tokyo. President Yuji Ito. URL:https://www.forum8.co.jp/english/) opened "Cambridge Toranomon Laboratory" in CIC Tokyo, Toranomon. In addition, Forum8 will open "FORUM8 NETSUGEN Gunma Desk (Gunma Prefectural Office Building)" on the 32nd floor of Gunma Prefectural Office as a public-private co-creation space.

Forum8 has joined MIT ILP, the industrial-academic project by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) since 2016, leading the knowledge of cutting-edge studies to the global development of VR technology and system development business. We will use the new Cambridge Toranomon Lab. with the view of opening a laboratory in Cambridge, Boston, the home of MIT. We will also hold seminars on VR and F8VPS, work on development/research/sales projects, and cooperate with startup companies.

NETSUGEN, Gunma Prefectural Office satellite office, on the 32F of the Gunma Prefectural Office is established with a purpose to realize new ideas toward new business using digital technologies and solving local issues by the cooperation between NPO, universities and research facilities, and local governments. As a software development IT company, Forum8 will provide systems, digital twins, and simulation services based on the Japan-made VR software UC-win/Road and CG software Shade3D, as well as WebVR platform F8VPS.
