FORUM8 will be the Title Partner of FORUM8 Rally Japan 2023!

Same as the year 2022, FORUM8 Co., Ltd. (2-15-1 Konan, Minato-ku, Tokyo. President Yuji Ito. URL:https://www.forum8.co.jp/english/) will support "WRC FORUM8 Rally Japan 2023", the Japan round of FIA World Rally Championship held from November 16, 2023, as a sole official partner.

Founded in 1973, the WRC is the world's premier rally event with a rich history and tradition. From Japan, Toyota Motor Corporation returned to the event in 2017 after an 18-year absence and has won the titles including the manufacturer's title. FORUM8 Rally Japan 2022, held in Japan for the first time in 12 years, was a great success as the final round of the season, covering approximately 1000 km in Aichi and Gifu prefectures (Shinshiro City, Toyota City, Nakatsugawa City, Ena City, and Okazaki City).

Rally Japan 2023 will be hosted by Toyota City (Aichi Prefecture), Ena City (Gifu Prefecture), Toyota Motorsports Club, M.O.S.C.O., and TOYOTA Town Management Co.Ltd. In addition, the Rally Japan 2023 Executive Committee has been established as the organizer of the event.
This is the first time in Japan that a municipality becomes an organizer of a competition. The goals of the event are to promote and revitalize local attractions through motor sports, and to create an environmentally friendly and safe community where people can enjoy cars safely. In a press conference held on November 26, 2022, Mr. Toshihiko Ota, Mayor of Toyota City, also mentioned three key points: to aim for a safe and secure rally for all, to hold the rally from the fans' point of view, and to utilize the rally to solve social issues such as SDGs, ESD, and ESG through sustainable vehicles and event management to make it a "Rally for the Future".

As a software developer and IT company, Forum8 agrees with the purpose of this competition and will contribute to the support and development of the event by providing systems based on the Japan-made VR software UC-win/Road and CG software Shade3D, digital twin, simulation services, and the Web VR platform F8VPS for the Toyota Stadium Metaverse that was also open for Rally 2022.
