Public voting for The 16th 3D VR Simulation Contest is now open!
- Evaluate and vote for the works on the interactive 3D VR of VR-Cloud® -

Forum8 (2-15-1 Konan, Minato-ku, Tokyo. President Yuji Ito. URL: http://www.forum8.co.jp/english/) will hold an award ceremony of "The 16th 3D VR Simulation Contest on Cloud" on the first day of the "FORUM8 Design Festival 2017-3Days" to be held from 15 to 17 November.

For this competition, excellent VR data gathered from Japan and overseas every year. At the award ceremony on 15 November, experts will explain the prize-winning data. Viewers can feel new possibilities of the UC-win/Road that are expanded to various fields such as environmental assessment and disaster prevention and reduction in addition to civil engineering, architecture, and traffic and vehicle in recent years.

The screening meeting was held on 17 October, and ten works have been nominated after the careful consideration by juries. The nominated works are open on "VR-Cloud®" where 3D VR can be operated and shared in an interactive way. During the voting period from 4 to 12 November, everyone can vote via a special website on cloud from home and office. The result of the public voting will be considered at the final judgment on 14 November to decide each award.

At the "FORUM8 Design Festival 2017-3Days", the "Autonomous Driving Conference" will be held on Day1, and four ministry officials are invited. A variety of programs are planned on each day such as the "International VR Symposium" by an international VR researcher group on Day2 and a special lecture by professor Koichi Maekawa from the University of Tokyo on Day3.
