On June 28th, 2021, Junko Nitta, the executive officer of FORUM8 gave a presentation at "1st Presentation on DX and Advanced Technology Promoting National Resilience" hosted by the Association for Resilience Japan.
In this conference, small and medium-sized companies and venture/startup companies introduced their own cutting-edge DX technologies and products in front of those in charge of national resilience and DX at government ministries and local governments and engineers in charge of technical implementation at major companies.
Mr. Takuya Hirai, Minister for Digital Transformation, and Mr. Ryosei Akazawa, Vice-Minister of the Cabinet Office also attended the event and highly appreciated the latest disaster mitigation technologies.
FORUM8 was selected as one of the 11 companies out of 40 applicants, and in our presentation, she introduced our products and solutions that promote national resilience and DX, focusing on the technologies such as VR simulation software and infrastructure digital database that support the construction of VR platforms, and the examples of deployment using F8VPS.
Mr. Akazawa made some comments toward the promotion of the implementation of these technologies, and collaboration between the Association for Resilience Japan, the companies participating in the presentation, and the Office for National Resilience will be considered in the future.
