We
are proud to announce the official establishment of FORUM8 Canada in
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on May 2015. FORUM8 Canada will be represented
by our passionate and eager former employee, Lixin "Peter" Liu who has
had high hopes of expanding our overseas presence ever since he
acquired his Canadian Citizenship.
The FORUM8 Canada office is located in the commercial district next to the John G. Diefenbaker International Airport in Saskatoon. Saskatoon is the largest city in Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan, along with its neighbouring provices of Alberta and Manitoba, form a vast region known as the Canadian Prairies. Across the border to the south into the United States, Saskatchewan is also a neighbour to the states of Montana and North Dakota.
Saskatchewan is the central hub where many of the finest Canadian prodcuces gather. Saskatchewan's most important industries include agriculture, oil, and mining. It maintains the highest economic growth rate while keeping the unemployment rate at the lowest compared to the rest of Canada. Saskatchewan has a total area of 651,036 square kilometers, and a current population of 1,132,600 (as of January 1, 2015). The University of Saskatchewan and the University of Regina are two of the most prominent universities in Saskatchewan.
FORUM8 Canada will be responsible for FORUM8's business activities in Canada. FORUM8 Canada will seek to sell and support all FORUM8's advanced products and solutions based on the interactive 3D VR software VR-Design Studio (also known as UC-win/Road), with the ultimate aim of a successful penertration into the Canadian market.
